Like many authors and writers who came before me, I have always known this was the path for me. I remember in my creative writing classes in school when we were told to write short 100 or 200 words stories from a prompt, mine would always become epic. The first book series that truly captured my heart was the Bailey School Kids, specifically "Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots."  Those books caught me like no other, and I knew I wanted to write stories like that some day.

Like many others, I really cut my teeth in writing as a fanfiction author. My main works were in Sailor Moon, Harry Potter and the Tortall series by Tamora Pierce. I have loved magic and fantasy since I was very young, and that shows in my writing today. Stories like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, The Lord of the Rings, Kiki's Delivery Service, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and so many others have all helped to shape who I am as a person and a fantasy lover today.
